On Monday, July 5th, 2021, Noe Rolando (Roland) Estringel, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle passed away at the age of 63 in San Antonio, Texas with his loving son, Nicholas Anthony Estringel, at his side. Roland was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 4, 1958. He was the son of Dagoberto C. Estringel (deceased) and Oralia Vela Estringel. At the age of 16, he moved to San Marcos, Texas and enrolled in the Job Core where he learned the trade of auto mechanics. Over the years, he mastered his craft and became a skilled, and highly sought-after mechanic. In 2007, he assumed the legal guardianship of his grandsons, Jacob and Michael Estringel, to whom he dedicated his life and held as his pride and joy. After a successful career, Roland retired and moved to San Antonio, Texas where he spent the remainder of his life with his son, Nicholas, daughter-in-law, Danette and grandsons, Jacob and Michael. Roland was an articulate speaker and naturally gifted storyteller. He entertained his family with meaningful and, often, humorous, anecdotes about his life experiences. He was a deep thinker with an appetite for knowledge. He enjoyed history, science and studying the bible, which he often shared with his family. Roland also loved nature and was an avid fisherman. Some of his happiest days and most memorable moments were spent hunting and fishing with his brothers, children, and grandsons. We will miss his love, kindness, and deep appreciation for life. Roland is survived by his mother Oralia Vela Estringel of Corpus Christi, TX; three children: Noe Rolando Estringel Jr. of Zachary, LA, Nicholas (Danette Valdez) Estringel of San Antonio, TX and Cassandra Marie Estringel of Denham Springs, LA; six grandchildren: Jacob Roland Estringel of San Antonio, TX, Michael Anthony Estringel of San Antonio, TX, Serenity Laura Anne Estringel of Denham Springs, LA, Aaliyah Hope Estringel of Denham Springs, LA, Jaiden David Estringel of Denham Springs, LA, and Christian Daniel Lee Estringel of Zachary, LA; four siblings: Bobby (Vickie Salinas) Estringel of San Antonio, TX, Denise Michelle Estringel of New Braunfels, TX, Michael Anthony Estringel of Corpus Christi, TX, Annette Estringel (Dwayne) Henderson of Corpus Christi, TX; two nieces: Gabrielle Alyse Estringel of Austin, TX, Sarah Anne Estringel of Corpus Christi, TX; and one nephew, Robert Charles Estringel of San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 10 to 11am at Mission Park Funeral Chapel in San Antonio, Texas, followed by a Rosary and funeral Mass.
