Roger Flores, 91, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. He was born on August 7, 1933, in Copeland, Texas to Concepcion and Manuel Flores. Roger began his journey as a migrant worker, working Texas farms from a young age till his adolescent years. His hard-working hands were filled with pride, love and an unwavering spirit. As his career evolved, he dedicated his time to Bordens Dairy and continued to serve many homes and families throughout the surrounding areas being a milk man. Through his retirement with Bordens he knew his civil service was not done and he continued to bring smiles to people's faces working for Sam's as a demo worker. His love for meeting all walks of life and making lasting impacts on people's lives continued to the end. Roger married the love of his life, Sonia G. Flores, in 1957, and together they built a life full of love and devotion. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Sonia; daughter, Esmeralda Morales; sisters, Ofelia Torres and Esther Martinez; grandchildren, Joseph Morales (Briana Morales), Michelle Felan (Michael Felan), and John Morales (Stephanie Morales); great-grandchildren, Madison Felan, Melania Felan, Isabella Morales, and John Roger Morales Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Concepcion and Manuel Flores; sisters, Celia Correa, Eva Villareal, and Carmen Elizondo; brothers, Robert Castillo and Mike Castillo; and son-in-law, Joseph Morales. Roger enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with his family. His love for nature and family was evident in everything he did. Roger’s life was one of unwavering dedication to his work and his loved ones. His spirit, wisdom, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
