Rosa Perales Phillips entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the age of 69. She was born on March 25, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, and is preceded in death by her parents, Antonia and Abraham Aldaco III and brother, David P. Aguilar. Rosa went by many names: Viéja, Mom, Grandma, Rosie, Rosita Beans, Babe. Each name held a special place in the heart of those who loved her. She is survived by her Husband: Anastacio (Tacho) Cedillo; Daughters: Joyce Garcia Roberts, Dana De Los Santos (Mark), Cristina Reyes (Joe), and Cynthia Torres; Sons: Joseph Garcia (Cindy) and Raymond P. Aldaco (Karey); Grandkids: George Chacon, Edward Chacon, Breanna Aldaco, Elena Aldaco, Isabella Aldaco, Amelia Aldaco, Leticia Nunez, Yasmin Nunez, Aria De Los Santos, Joseph (JoJo) Reyes, Cristian Reyes, Jessica Reyes, Madelyne Torres, Lillianna Torres, Johnny Jr Torres and Danny Torres; Great-Grandchildren: Allison Hernandez and Charlotte Chacon; Siblings: Manuel Prado (Sylvia), Lorine Ramos, Yolanda Palacios (Stephen), Mark A. Rodriguez, Mary Lou Soto (Cleo), Marina A. Crayton (Barry), Mario Aldaco (Sandra), Martha Aldaco (Armando P.), and JC Aldaco (Anna), along with many Cousins, Friends & Co-Workers. Rosa was a woman who truly lived life to the fullest. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without question. She always made sure everyone felt comfortable & safe. When she wasn’t working, she cherished time with her late Mother, Mother-In-Law, her family, enjoying garage sales, casinos, and spending time on her patio with her loved ones. Whenever there was a family event, she found joy in picking up the Pan De Dulce from her Southside Bakeries. No gathering was ever the same without her. She made us laugh until we cried, and her stories and legacy will live in our memories forever. As a wife, Rosa was devoted to Tacho, her partner of 34 years. Together they blended two families and built a legacy with 16 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Rosa will be remembered for her big smile, rolling eyes, her Bold Red Lipstick, her love of Oldies Music, and her Giving Heart. We find peace knowing she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Today, we believe she is in paradise, renewed in mind, body, and spirit, and reunited with those she loved. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South.
