Rosary Gonzales Michaels, a dear mother, sibling, and friend to many, was born on November 9, 1951 in San Antonio. She passed away on July 1, 2025 at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose C. Gonzales & Cecilia Ruiz Gonzales, her brother, Rolando, her beloved husband, Gregory Michaels, and her son, Bobby. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Greunke (Andrew); son, Andrew Michaels (Jackie Vannart); sisters, Josephine Gonzales, Thelma Echiveste (Albert), Mariana Lozano (Rodrigo), Tina Ramon and Diana Diaz; brothers, Alex (Cecilia), Armando, George (Josie), and Arturo (Margaret); grandchildren, Veronica Greunke and Amaya Michaels. A devout Catholic, Rosary loved life with a deep heart. She was compassionate, talkative, and friendly. Rosary enjoyed sewing, watching movies, and stories. Rosary graduated from Thomas Jefferson in May of 1969. She attended San Antonio College, Palo Alto College, and Our Lady Of The Lake University. She was a Notary for The State Of Texas, Licensed USAA Claims Adjuster, City of San Antonio Volunteer after school and coach, then became an employee of the City of San Antonio for the After School Program. Her employment at USAA started as a clerk in 1970. Then she worked her way up to Claims Adjuster. She worked at USAA for over 34 years. While at USAA, Rosary was a Mentor at De Zavala Elementary. She was a Catechetical Volunteer at St Brigid Catholic Church. After Retirement from USAA, Rosary and her husband Greg owned a Liberty Income Tax Franchise. At one time, Rosary owned three Liberty Income Tax locations. She was also a member of the San Antonio Northwest Rotary Club. SERVICES Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with a Rosary for Rosary at 6:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Medical Center. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Brigid Catholic Church, with a reception to follow at the church. Interment will follow at Ft.
