Roslyn Gabriel age 61 of San Antonio joined our Lord in Heaven on Friday, May 27, 2022. She was born April 11, 1961 in San Antonio- a loving daughter to Rosalie (Perez) and Johnny Deep Gabriel, Sr. Roslyn is survived by her parents, Rosalie P Gabriel and Johnny Deep Gabriel Sr; her son, Blake Boulos and his father Youssef (Joe) Boulos; siblings Jennifer Gabriel Barbaro & brother-in-law Salvatore Barbaro III, Vincent Martinez & sister-in-law JoAnna Martinez, Johnny D Gabriel Jr. & sister-in-law Rita Gabriel, Ronald A Gabriel & sister-in-law Rosabel Gabriel, Inez Cindy Gabriel & sister-in-law Gina Gabriel and Eleanor G Pfirrmann & brother-in-law Jim Pfirrmann. Roslyn is an accounting graduate from SMU in Dallas, TX. She also spent a semester at the American University of Paris studying fashion design and was fluent in French. Her studies and career led her from Dallas, TX to Boston, Massachusetts then she finally landed in North Miami Florida where she met Joe. Later Joe and Roslyn had Blake Boulos, their only son and love of their lives! Roslyn devoted the rest of her life to motherhood and Blake. About four years after Blake’s birth, Roslyn & Joe decided to move back to San Antonio where Blake would be surrounded by more family. Shortly after moving back to Texas, Roslyn discovered her breast cancer and underwent treatments for Breast cancer on two separate occasions. Both occasions appearing successful. Suddenly, two years ago in May of 2020, Roslyn discovered a large mass in her sacrum and was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The last two years of her life have been a dedicated battle with cancer and time. Eventually, cancer took over. Roslyn was a free spirit yet a very humble, simple and private person. She focused her time and energy on her immediate family and those that needed her. Roslyn is a firm believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and even though she was suffering, Roslyn always tried to help others. SERVICES A Celebration of Her Life will begin at 11am, Saturday June 11, at Community Bible Church, 2477 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas 78232.
