Sandra P. Johnston 1925-2019 Sandra P. Johnston age 93 of San Antonio, Texas and Punta Gorda, Florida died Friday, June 21st 2019 at Methodist Main Hospital, San Antonio, Texas. Born in San Antonio, Texas, Sandra wanted to see what Life had to offer her and after graduating from High School and Junior College, she work for a little while in Texas and found herself in Washington D.C. working for numerous Government Agencies and Individuals in our Nation Capital. Sandra use to tell her nephews and nieces that she was a very independent woman and the life Sandra lived was a very good testimony of her desire to live the life she wanted to live. Sandra Married John, “Johnnie” W. Johnston, April 21st 1977, and had a wonderful 26 years with a wonderful Husband and Friend until his passing in 2003. When John Married Sandra it was done here in San Antonio, so Sandra Mother, Sophia Moran Padilla and Family could attend. They lived in Kent Island Maryland before moving to Punta Gorda, Florida and due to health reasons, Sandra moved back to San Antonio, Texas to be with her Family. Sandra P. Johnston had no children of her own but She was a wonderful Aunt and Friend to all of her family, her nieces and her nephews and her love and her kindness will never be forgotten, by all her family and friends who were touch with her love while Sandra was with us. Sandra is preceded in Death her Husband John W. Johnston, Brother: Leo Padilla, Sister: Alice P. Elias and her Father and Mother: Leovijildo and Sophia M. Padilla. Sandra is survived from her Marriage to John by his two sons, John Scott Johnston and Jerry Johnston and his Wife Leticia and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Sandra is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews: Leo, Charles, Mark, Michael and Pam and their children of the Padilla Family. Sandra is also survived by her Sister Alice children. Dolores, “Dee” Berlanga, Robert, “Bobby” Elias and Glenda A. Rowe and numerous Nieces and Nephews from the Elias Family. Sandra P. Johnston was cremated at Alamo Funeral Chapel on July 10th and Sandra Memorial Celebration will be on July 21st at 2:00pm at Alamo Funeral Chapel, San Antonio, Texas. There will be a Memorial Service held at Alamo Funeral Chapel to Celebrate the Life of a very wonderful Woman who dedicated her life to her family in ways that will always be remembered. Sandra P. Johnston will always be remembered for her love for her Family and her Dedication to her family and her sacrifices she made to help out any family member when they needed help of any kind. Sandra Ashes will be taken back to Florida and some of her ashes will be buried at the Gravesite of her Mother and Father, here is San Antonio.
