Santa Ana Maria Sanchez Jimenez was born on July 25th 1922 in Ojo Caliente, Coahuila Mexico and entered the kingdom of God on February 6, 2014. She was the eldest of eight and was preceded in death by her parents , Geronimo and Maria Sanchez, husband Jesse Jimenez, brothers Pepe, Angel and Genaro, and sister Estella, her treasured grandson Moses Michael Jimenez, and her precious great grandson Noah Alexander Thompson. She is survived by her children, Jesse, Olivia, Matt Sarah, Diana, and Anita, her grandchildren, Melissa, Vanessa Christopher Ryan Thompson, Adam, Christopher, Charles and James, and her great grandchildren, Belyn, Elise and Jonah, her sister Evangelina, and brothers Abran and Mariano Socorro. Numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends made along her journey, including her caretaker of several years, Adela, join us in mourning her great loss. Although a second and significant stroke in 2009 prohibited our mother's ability to walk and be independentwhich required a huge adjustment and acceptance on her behalf, it did not once hinder her ability to love, smile, laugh, and care for her family. There was none like her. Our motherhad a tremendous will to live, largely due to her devotion to her family. She knew how much she was needed, valued, and loved. The sense of loss felt with her passing can never be expressed in words, but she leaves us with her strength, her faith, and most importantly, with a legacy of love. Her love is one that cannot be duplicated or forgotten, and will forever be in our hearts. Thank you, Mami for all of your many, many sacrifices, your complete devotion, and your unselfishness. It will never be the same without you. We are so grateful and so blessed to have shared so many wonderful years and memories with you by our side. Know that with every moment and every day that passes, we miss and love you and we look forward to seeing you in heaven.
