AGUILLON Severiano Aguillon Jr. aka S.S. Aguillon born on May 7, 1927 and raised in San Antonio, TX passed away on September 9, 2012 at the age of 85. As a World War II Veteran he served his country proudly. He trained at Ft. Sam Houston, took a train to California and from there was shipped out to various parts of the world. While in the service, he was stationed in France, Germany, Austria and Denmark. His service in the U.S. Army ended in 1946 with an Honorable Discharge. In 1948 he married the love of his life, Evangelina Huizar Ojeda, and began a family. It was during this time, that he realized his great talent in carpentry/wood working and began building many memories with his company "Aguillon Construction Company". Severiano was a talented man, father, husband, avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed life and most importantly his family. As a devout Catholic parishioner, volunteer and member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Leo's Catholic Church and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church he and his sons dedicated their time in many areas of the church. He was a very generous man who gave from his heart to all those in need and would always greet everyone with a firm hand shake and say "Peace Be with You". He is preceded in death by his parents, Severiano Sr. and Gavina Salinas Aguillon, brothers and sisters Manuela, Josefa, Pilar, Mateo, Gabriel, Antonio, and Sofia, as well as his two oldest sons, Angel and Gerarde O. Aguillon. He is Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Evangelina O. Aguillon and his 13 Children, Mary Helen, Gloria, Alice, William, Oralia, Severiano S. III, Agnes, Evangeline, Adrian, Camille, Cornelius, Christine and Eve as well as 53 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES A visitation will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, 1700 S.E. Military Drive, SATX from 5pm until 9pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at St. Leo's Catholic Church at 10:30am. Procession & Interment will immediately follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with complete Military Honors.
