Silveria Benavides Trevino entered into the Lord’s eternal presence on August 1, 2022 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Pesqueria, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on April 11, 1937 to Laurentina and Lucas Jose Benavides. Married August 3, 1952 to her beloved husband, Leobardo M. Trevino; they relocated to San Antonio, Texas in 1957 to raise their family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Leobardo Trevino, four brothers, one sister and her daughter in law Ida Trevino. To cherish her life, she leaves nine children; Juan Antonio Trevino ( Late Ida ) , Sylvia Trevino ( Jose Alejo Garcia), Leobardo Trevino ( Olivia ), Luis Rey Trevino ( Linda), Lucina Trevino (Billy Dean Washburn), Leticia Aguilar (Patrick), Maria Margarita Guevara (Joseph), Maria Victoria Ramirez (Felix), Anna Patricia Bare (Tony), her sister Juanita Martinez, twenty- seven grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Silveria lived her life in devotion to Christ, her husband and children. She loved her family deeply with love that is beyond measure. Her life reflected strength in the Lord, deep love for her family, friends and her devotion to serving others. Raising nine children, she instilled love, faith, hope, character, integrity, determination, strength, kindness, gentleness, patience, goodness and a humble spirit into her children; as she displayed each of these in her daily life. Her passion was raising children, whether they be hers, her grandchildren, great grandchildren or the many others that she adopted along her path. She lived a rich life and witnessed the fruits of her labor in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great -grandchildren; the generations that have followed her. She enjoyed gardening and her pets, as it allowed her to nurture, grow and harvest; seeing God’s handiwork in her daily life. We truly have been blessed by her remarkable life and love. We miss her dearly and keep her in our hearts; as we await the day we will see her again in glory.
