Stephanie “Tigger” Lynn Adelaide Woodford, 34, of San Antonio, TX, went to be with the Lord and her brother, Scotty, on Saturday, March 18th, 2017. She was taken by a random act of violence. Stephanie was born on April 2, 1982 in San Antonio, TX to Mrs. Laurel Joan Diana Anderson and Thomas Eugene Woodford. She lived the first 7 years of her life in San Antonio, attending Coronado Elementary School,¬ before the family relocated to Tacoma, Washington in 1989. Stephanie attended Roosevelt Elementary, Gault Middle School, and Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Wa. In 2000, she met Jeffery Highcock, who has been her significant other for the last 17 years. In 2004, Stephanie returned to San Antonio, Texas with family, as well as Jeffery. Stephanie will be remembered for her humorous disposition, kind heart, willingness to help others, and being a loving mother to Sara (7) and Tristan (2). She thoroughly enjoyed watching WWE and was a huge fan of John Cena. She enjoyed spending time with her cousin and best friend, Tiffany Bowen, who was Pooh to her Tigger. Stephanie had a helpful heart and was willing to lend a hand without hesitation. Her final act in life was to save the life of another, which speaks volumes about the depth of her compassion. Stephanie is preceded in death by her brother, Scotty Garvin; her niece, Alyssa Hicks; her aunts, Sharon Todd and Joan Palmer; and her uncles, Francis Garvin and James E. Garvin. Stephanie is survived by her children, Sara Rose Woodford and Tristan Scott Highcock; her mother, Laurel Anderson and her husband William; her father, Thomas Woodford and step-mother, Jamie Woodford; her partner of 17 years, Jeffery Highcock; her siblings, Thomas Smires (Katherine, Ashley, Cameron, and Steven); James R. Morris and his wife, Kori (Zachary, Alicia, Emily, and Jacob); Crystal Ward and her husband, Anthony (Christopher, Kayla, Brandon, and Leland); Angela Morris (Dorian, Jenise, and Caia); Nicole Widener and her husband, David (Andrew, Alexander, and Ashlyn); Diana Bethel and her husband, Casey (Sonya and Arya); step siblings, Charles Anderson, Mary Ward, and Nicholas Ward; her uncle, Edward Garvin and his wife, Ann; her aunt, Michelle McColl, and numerous cousins. There are so many who loved her, that we are unable list everyone. A private wake will be held for family and close friends on Sunday afternoon.
