Stephen William Hall, Jr. passed away on September 18, 2016 at the age of 45. He was born April 1, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas and remained a lifelong resident. He graduated from Tom C. Clark High School in 1989 and from Trinity University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. During these years he became a fiercely competitive tennis player and tennis remained a passion throughout his lifetime. After college, he began his professional career with SAIC attaining the position of Assistant Vice-President before joining KForce Government Solutions formerly dNovus RDI as Vice-President and Business Unit Manager. Following positions at Serco-North America as a Director, and VETS, INC. as Senior Vice-President of Corporate Development, he spent the past three years with Xerox as Vice-President of Business Development and Capture. His keen mind, quick with, inherent charisma, communication skills and business acumen led him to excel throughout his career. He also enjoyed multiple entrepreneurial pursuits. Steve married his sweetheart Sabrina Ranalli in 1997. They were blessed with two exceptional children, Makenzi and Grayson. His family brought him the greatest joy in life. He marveled at his children's academic, musical and sports talents; proudly attending their piano recitals and sporting events. He particularly enjoyed being his daughter's tennis practice partner and was deeply involved with his son's school and city league basketball activities. Steve enjoyed traveling with family, recently returning from a Mediterranean pilgrimage where he was particularly moved during the visit to Mary's house in Ephesus and while passing through the Holy Doors at the Vatican. He was an active parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John A. Fuschich, Jr.; William P. and Mary Louise Hall. He is survived by his loving wife Sabrina Ranalli Hall; daughter Makenzi P. Hall; son Grayson V. Hall; parents Stephen W. and Irene F. Hall; sister Katrina I. Herron, husband Marc, children Ross, Marc Jr. Godson, Lili, and Henry; brother Patrick S. Hall, wife Mitzi, children Kaylee, Madison, Colin Godson, and Kaden; maternal grandmother June "Nana" Fuschich; in-laws Vince and Patricia Ranalli; brother-in-law Scott Ranalli; sister-in-law Heather Butler, husband Oscar Gonzales, children Alexius and Alexia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, and respected colleagues. Steve will be remembered for his good and generous heart, strong sense of family, zest for life and infections smile Who could resist that trademark dimple or twinkle in his eye? He was always quick to offer assistance when needed and selflessly served as a mentor to others. One of his earliest and most rewarding community services was as a volunteer working with underprivileged children in a robotic development competition. Although gone too soon, Steve lives on in the hearts and minds of those who were privileged to know and love him. We draw comfort in knowing that he is at peace in the love, light and grace of God's presence. Memorial Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8500 Cross Mountain Trail, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10:00 am, preceded by the rosary at 9:30 am and followed by an on-site reception.
