MANWARING Terrence Ted Michael Manwaring, Jr. of Helotes, TX passed away on October 8, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on April 28, 1932 in Ossining, New York, the son of Terrence and Helen O'Neil Manwaring. Ted was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Michael Manwaring, and brothers Billy, Johnny and Jimmy. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Constance Cartman Manwaring; daughters, Colleen Postert Kelly, Teri McKenzie Doug, Ann Marie Rodriguez Gamy; Jacqueline Ferguson David; sons, Terrence Phillip Manwaring Jennifer; Mark Joseph Manwaring Darcy; sister, Gail Sweeney Dennis; brother, Dennis Manwaring Gina; grandchildren: Christy Varnado Brandon, Matthew Postert Kristin, Rachel Kleiman Richard, Wesley McKenzie Abby, Parker and Jarrett McKenzie, Phillip, Tyler and Sienna Manwaring, Nicole Pearson Luke, Kristin and Nathaniel Rodriguez, Stephanie and Steve Ferguson, Merric and Morgan Manwaring; great-grandchildren, Mikayla Garza, Michael, Alyssa and Jacob Pearson, Faith and Carter Kleiman, and Jacqueline McKenzie. Ted was a loving father and devoted husband of 58 years. Everyone that met Ted loved him. He had a special heart for those that were in need and helped where he could. Ted had many accomplishments; such as two years of college, retired military after 23 years, and starting his own successful business, just to name a few. Ted also loved sports and coached several baseball teams and played baseball himself in his younger years. Ted went through his Alzheimer's disease with courage and optimism until the very last breath. He will be missed by many whose lives he touched. SERVICES Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Oak Hills Mortuary. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes, 13715 Riggs Rd. Helotes, TX 210 695-8791. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266 with Air Force Honors.
