Theresa “Terry” Anne Munoz, age 73, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 9, 1952, in Edison, New Jersey, to Frank and Mary Williams. She grew up in a large and loving military family with seven siblings. She was an “Air Force BRAT (born resilient and tough)” and grew up living around the country. She attended high school in San Antonio and graduated from John Jay High School. Terry went on to become a Registered Nurse and worked at several healthcare facilities during her career including Methodist Hospital, Hospice San Antonio as the Director of Nursing, The Medical Team Home Health, and Vitas Hospice. Terry excelled as a nurse because she was compassionate, caring, respectful, an advocate for her patients, and kind. Terry was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, who thoroughly enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She built a happy home with her husband, Nick Munoz, for 36 years before his passing in 2020. They were very much in love with one another and upheld their marriage vows to the fullest, caring for one another through sickness and in health during their more than three decades together. Terry relished being a mother and wife. Together, she and Nick created a blended family with six children. Like her own childhood, Terry fostered a welcoming, inviting home, and their house was often a gathering place for their family, their friends, and their children’s friends. Terry was also an avid animal lover and gave a loving home to many dogs and cats over the years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Williams; her husband, Nick Munoz; and her brother, Michael Williams. Terry is survived by her children: Shane Pitsch, Raina White, Adrianna Munoz, Nicolas (Victoria) Munoz, Naomi Dominguez, and Natali (Chad) Lung; her grandchildren: Brandon Galvan, Breanna Jimenez, Kimiko Galvan, Isabella Dominguez, Cassandra Munoz, Stephen Dominguez, Petyon White, Cristian Dominguez, Cameron White, and Dresden Lung; and her siblings: Frank (Chris) Williams, Mary Lou (Gary), Brenda Stevens, Katy (David) Wilks, Linda Williams, and Stephanie (Chris Hauck) Williams. The family would like to thank Charles Arriaga, Ilsa Garcia, Rochelle Huntsman, Susana Magana, Becky Moreno, Yolanda Rodriguez, Tracey Whelan, Seth Villalobos, and all our family and friends who have given help and support and sent food since mom passed away. We love you all so much and appreciate you more than you know. The family would also like to thank Life Care Hospice for the excellent care and love you provided to Terry. Her wish was to live out her days at her home, and the compassionate care and support Life Care Hospice provided enabled this to happen. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 16, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #3. A reception will follow at Grace Point Northeast Church, 2930 MacArthur View San Antonio, Texas 78217. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the San Antonio Food Bank or Disabled American Veterans.
