Tributes

Our beloved, Veronica Ronnie Pace, age 68, of San Antonio, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 31, 2006. Ronnie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elva Prosser, biological father, Clarence Johnson, grandson Baby Alex, nephew Jason Young, and loving fiancé David Lea, with whom she will be buried with. She is survived by loving children, Lana Kaye Skinner and her husband Brian, Alan Roy Pace and wife Gigi and Diane Zornow and husband Carl. Grandma Ronnie adored her precious grandchildren, Adam and Callie Fontenote, Hannah Skinner, Tayloir Pace and Jennifer, Brittany, and Taylor Skinner. She was the oldest sister of five to Sandra Wallace, Kathy Prosser, Susan Franklin, and Shari Lynne Young. Aunt Ronnie was much loved by her nieces and nephews; Jackie and Samantha Shadrock, Eagles Club Members and her many wonderful friends that held a special place in her heart. Ronnie passed peacefully in the comfort of her daughter Lana and son-in-law Brains home in Austin. Ronnie and her family were blessed to have Brians father, Charles Skinner, to take care of her during this fight. Charles became her dear friend and was deemed Saint Charles by Ronnies sisters. Ronnie was loving, compassionate, caring and always gave to others before giving to herself. She made it through many of lifes trials with a positive outlook and a beautiful optimism. She fought cancer with everything she had, along with Gods loving care and peace. She gave each of her family members a blessing; such a wonderful gift. She will be dearly missed be all and will live forever in our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Austin for the wonderful care provided by Carol, Nancy and Chaplin Ann who are truly special angels. Thank you also to the Texas Oncology Austin for their compassion to care. Services There will be a public visitation held on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home, burial will follow in the San Jose Burial Park.
