Victor Vasquez, age 91, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026. He was born on March 6, 1935, in Las Canoas, Rio Verde, San Luis Potosí. Victor dedicated 25 years of service to CPS Energy, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. Outside of work, he found joy in playing the guitar, tending to his garden, and working with his hands. He was a true handyman who could fix almost anything and took pride in helping others. A man of strong faith, Victor was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Jude Church. He generously devoted his time to serving the church community and shared his love of music by participating in the church choir. Victor is survived by his loving wife, Maria J. Vazquez; his children, Isabel Vazquez, Victor Vazquez, Carlos Vazquez, Angelica Flores and her husband Jesse Flores, Irma Trejo and her husband Michael Trejo, and Javier Vazquez; as well as 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Victor will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to his family and faith, and the simple joys he brought to those around him. Victor dedicó 26 años de servicio a CPS Energy, donde fue conocido por su fuerte ética de trabajo y responsabilidad. Fuera del trabajo, disfrutaba tocar la guitarra, cuidar su jardín y trabajar con sus manos. Era un buen trabajador que podía arreglar casi cualquier cosa y siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a los demás. Hombre de gran fe, Victor fue miembro activo de la sociedad de San Vicente de Paul y de la iglesia de San Judas. Dedicó su tiempo al servicio de su comunidad parroquial y compartió su amor por la música participando en el coro de la iglesia. Victor deja en vida a su amada esposa, Maria J. Vazquez; sus hijos, Isabel Vazquez, Victor Vazquez, Carlos Vazquez, Angelica Flores y su esposo Jesse Flores, Irma Trejo y su esposo Michael Trejo, y Javier Vazquez; así como 19 nietos y 14 bisnietos. Victor será recordado por su bondad, su dedicación a su familia y su fe, y por las alegrías sencillas que compartió con quienes lo rodeaban.
