03.05.1958 - 02.04.2021 When Yolanda entered into heaven on February 4th at the age of 62, she was reunited with her loving Mother Olga, who also met our Lord just a few weeks prior. She was also preceded in death by her father Vicente L. Ramos. She was a strong woman with a big heart who enjoyed being with her family. Although she did not have children of her own she was a mother figure to her brother, sisters, nieces, and nephews. She always knew the answers to any question you had and is someone we will forever look up to. She was born and raised in San Antonio and after her parents divorce, at the age of 14, she helped raise her brother and sisters. She was a devout catholic, educated in catholic school, and was a graduate of St. Francis Academy class of 76. During her time at St. Francis Academy she worked at the school to help her Mom pay her tuition. She received her degree with San Antonio College and retired from Bexar Appraisal District where she worked for over 25 years. After retirement she continued working par-time for her favorite shopping channel, QVC. She enjoyed listening to music and singing. You would often find her listening to Barry Manillow, the golden oldies, and gospel music. But what she enjoyed most of all was being a dedicated Aunt. She was a member of every niece and nephews PTA, volunteered at every school or church event, and always reminded the children’s parents of upcoming school events, like crazy sock day. Anytime we needed her she was always there. She would drop whatever she was doing to be with us. She was full of advice and always gave it . . . even when we didn’t know we needed it. The excitement in her eyes at a school play, the happiness in her smile at a school game, the pride she had watching us graduate, and the grace she carried from helping raise this family. All of these things we will miss everyday until we see her again. She wasn’t just a loving aunt, she was a helpful mother, a gracious sister, a supportive friend, and a devout member of our family who will be greatly missed. No one could ever replace what she was to this family. But her dedication and devotion to it, will live on through each of us. She is survived by her siblings Diana Estrada, Charles Ramos, Yvonne Molina (her favorite brother in law Lionel) as well as their children and grandchildren, Erik (Roslyn) with Airyka and Zoey, David, Denise with Xavier, Anthony, and Adam, Rosalinda with Matthew, Brittany, Nicholas, Ricardo, Jordan, and Briana.
