He was employed with Austin Energy and CPS Energy in San Antonio where he served as an Economist and ultimately retiring from both. Dagnatchew’s grandest accomplishment was his family. Being a kind and dependable husband, father, and grandfather was of the utmost importance to Dagnatchew. He was well known for his accomplishments however it was his larger-than-life personality that most will recall. He always enjoyed the company of family and friends sharing in stories and laughter. His most enjoyable past time was being in the presence of his grandchildren. The amount of joy and bliss the kids brought to him was reflected in the smile he kept on his face while watching them. That same smile is forever embedded in our memories. He is survived by his wife Laketch and his children Mesky and Aaron, and his granddaughters Liya and Laila. A special thank you to the friends and family near and far for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Mission Park Funeral Chapels for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
