Beloved, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2022, at the blessed age of 75. Domingo was born on October 24, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas to Domingo & Maria Garcia. He has reunited with his parents, brother Louis D. Garcia and brother-in law Manuel Gomez. Left to cherish his memories is his beautiful wife of 56 years, Norma Jean Garcia; daughters, Lydia J. Ortiz (Artemio), Emma B. Ruiz (Lee), Angela D. Garcia (Michael); grandchildren, Stephanie Mendiola, Louis Cape, Richard M. Dziuk (Scott), Domingo V. Smith, Zachary R. Smith, Juilen M. Ruiz, Brianna L. Ruiz; sisters, Lillian Gomez, Alicia Garcia, Rosemary Cevallos (George); brothers, Robert D. Garcia, Arturo Garcia, and extended family members. He will be truly missed by his family and friends but will never be forgotten. Domingo Garcia Jr. enjoyed spending time with his family and friend, he enjoyed fishing especially with his wife, children and grandchildren and family. He was big Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching (listening) to the games. He also enjoyed going to Vegas to gamble. In his younger years he enjoyed drawing. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m.. Funeral Service will be Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
