    Donald M. Baker

    September 20, 1940 - January 27, 2022

Donald M. Baker, beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather left this earth to spend eternity with our Almighty God on January 27, 2022 at the age of 81 years. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 20, 1940; and is preceded in death by his parents Cecil Omega and Helen Pauline Mints Baker and siblings Betty Baker Shook and Phillip Baker. Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years Billie Jean Baker, loving sons Donald V. Baker and Timothy C. Baker, adored grandchildren, Cory Baker (Brittany Baker), Sarah Baker Randall (Zachary Randall), Dex Baker, Kas Baker and Ian Baker and great grandchildren, Cash Baker, Bryson Baker, Dazie Baker, Brylee Baker, Kenai Baker and Josie Randall. He was a kind and gentle man with a very calm and laid-back personality. He loved being with his family and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren as they got old enough to play. He also loved racing drag cars and mud trucks, playing golf and taking care of his cows. During his 45 years as the owner of Mission Cleaning, he made many friends including customers, co-workers, vendors and business acquaintances. Not a day goes by that someone doesn’t ask about him and comment on what a kind and generous man he was. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him, and will never be forgotten. Visitation will begin on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South. For personal acknowledgement, you may sign the online guestbook at www.missionparks.com in the obituary section.
