Marilyn White Wilson

Marilyn White Wilson, age 80, of Grey Forest, Texas passed away peacefully at home with her loving family on April 29, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James F. Wilson, as well as her brothers David, Joseph (Terry), & Michael. She is survived by children Russell (Stephanie) Wilson, Tamasyn (Gervase) Szalwinski, Dawn (Mark) Bjorge; grandchildren Ryan (Christina) Wilson, Stephen (Ashlee) Wilson; Megan Szalwinski; James Szalwinski; Nathaniel Bjorge; Jonathan (Abigail) Bjorge and great grandchildren Connor, Roland and Miles Wilson. She also leaves her sister, Adrienne Morrison, brothers Mark and Randy White, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn loved to travel, read, fish, garden, and do creative crafts. She became accomplished at many, including sewing, painting, stained glass, and candlemaking to name a few. She was a business owner, over the years having a dancing school, a court transcription business, and developing and teaching a course on Medical Terminology at UTHSCSA with her published textbook. Hers was a lifetime of service, as a long time member of the Helotes Hills United Methodist Church, Helotes Lions Club, Helotes Festival Association, and Helotes Garden Club. She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years, and a proud member of the Descendents of the Signers of the Constitution and the DAR. If anyone needed help in her community, she was there. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
