Norma Jean Dennis
May 4, 1931 - February 21, 2022
“A woman so full of warmth and love, only the sun itself could rival in comparison.” On February, 21st 2022, Norma Jean Dennis was called home to return to the rest of her family. She is remembered fondly by those surviving her and endearingly call her Ma-ma. She loved traveling and would never hesitate to relate her trips through Alaska and Germany with her husband and soulmate Roy Richard Dennis. The two shared many laughs and memories with one another until his passing in 2018. She was usually a beacon of kindness and comfort to all she encountered. She was also very pertinent to the growth and development of all of her grandchildren. Grandma was an outstanding cook and never shied away from sharing the kitchen with her loved ones and sharing her meal with her lavish and fashionable “Sunday Bests,” as per tradition. She was a songbird and a dancer and now her laughter and smile can brighten up the darkest corners of her next life. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Church services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Oxford United Methodist Church with entombment to follow at Mission Burial Park North.
