April 13, 1965 - October 30, 2021
A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Tony L. Menchaca went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2021, at the age of 56. He was born on April 13, 1965 in San Antonio, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Rosalinda Menchaca. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Diana G. Menchaca; children, Tony Gonzalez Menchaca (Erin), Christine Menchaca (Andrew) and Stephanie Menchaca; siblings, Rosemary Alejos (Patrick), David Menchaca and Genevieve Sauceda; 3 grandchildren, Madison Menchaca, Natalie Menchaca and Mason James Menchaca; 1 grandson on the way, Levi Hunter Menchaca, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Some words about Tony from his loving wife, Diana: Tony lived his life constantly taking care of family. His greatest accomplishments were his children Tony, Christine, and Stephanie. He always wanted to make sure they had a good life and he worked 3 jobs to keep them in private schools so that they would get the best education possible. He would always say that he wanted his children to have more than he had growing up. Tony wanted the best for his family and would always push himself to do what he needed to do in order to ensure that his family had what they needed. When Tony found out that he was going to be a grandfather he said that he would provide for his grandchildren as he provided for his children. Tony could not have been prouder of his granddaughters, Madison and Natalie. Tony wanted to be a father figure to Madison and Natalie so that they would always know how much they meant to him. Tony said that they were the best that he could ever ask for. He was later blessed with his 3rd grandchild, Mason Menchaca. He loved that Mason is such a kind and loving boy. Tony loved to hear Mason say, "Pamps and me are awesome." That truly melted his heart. Mason will soon have a baby brother, Levi Menchaca. Tony will be proud of Levi as well as he looks down on him from above, as Tony is now a guardian angel for all of his grandchildren. Tony had a heart of gold and always found a way to help out those that needed a hand. Tony felt that if he could share what he had then God would bless him with more. Some of Tony's ways of giving to others were to donate boxed fans to the elderly and donate to The Children's Shelter. Tony is my love, my partner, and my soulmate. I cannot express the joy and love that Tony showed me for 41 years of our lives. Tony was my best friend and the person that I could count on to stand by my side and be my rock. I will miss you always and forever. You did everything right my love and it's time to rest your working hands as you enjoy God's Paradise. Watch over us, my Angel, and save a place for me. I'll be there soon but until then I will carry you in my heart. I LOVE YOU TONE. Visitation will be on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Park South. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
