Andres R. Carrillo Sr., entered eternal rest January 22, 2026, at the age of 89. He was devoted husband to Evangelina Manuela Carrillo, a beautiful Father and Grandfather. Andres was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. And lived a life rooted in faith, love, hard work, and strength. Andres was born to Eduvejes and Ippolita Carrillo Nov. 30, 1936, in San Antonio TX where he built a life with family and friends. He worked for SAISD for 33 years as a Head Custodian. Where his dedication, integrity, and steady leadership earned the respect and admiration of coworkers and staff. He led by example and took pride in his work. Andres was a servant; he worked to provide for his family and never made excuses. A determined spirit, that humbled everyone around him by his beautiful example of kindness, gentleness, and patience. He will forever live in the hearts of those who were around him. We were so blessed to call you Dad and Grandpa. You were so loved!! Andres was a source of strength, love and guidance, and his presence shaped our lives in ways words can barely express. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit lives in the lessons he taught, the love he gave so freely, and the countless memories we will forever carry in our hearts. Andres was a devoted husband to his wife Evangelina; his last words only called his beautiful bride Eva. He was an amazing, loving father to Andres G Carrillo Jr. (wife Rosa E. Carrillo), Evangelina C. Robledo (husband Andrew Robledo), Rogelio G Carrillo (wife Annette Carrillo) and Bertha Eliza Calpena (husband John R Calpena). He was a joy to his grandchildren, with so many beautiful memories of love and devotion that his grandchildren will cherish for life! 12 Grandchildren: Andres E. Carrillo III, Michael A. Calpena and Ava Marie Calpena 19 Great Grandchildren: Alejandro S. Carrillo Jr., Dylan C. Carrillo, Logan l. Carrillo, Lana L. Carrillo, Luca L. Carrillo, Deangelo Carrillo Jr., Angelica E Carrillo, Kayleb Carrillo, Zoey Carrillo, Richard Cinalli, Andrew Cinali, Heath Cinali, Sophia Kidd, Jason Pena Jr., Madison Sanchez, Mason Sanchez, Isabell Carrillo, Scarlett Storms, Bleu Storms, Evander A Storms. Andres enjoyed baseball coaching in his youth, family barbeques, working in his yard, sports, carpentry, and his antique baby blue truck. He loved to labor. He loved life, his beautiful wife Eva and his children and grandchildren. You will forever be missed, we love you Dad. Your memory will forever live in our hearts. You were deeply loved, and your legacy will forever live in our hearts. You were the smartest person and most loving Dad!!
