Sonny Belz, an extraordinary Husband and Dad, entered into the arms of our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ on Friday, August 21, 2015. He was the Vice-President of Alamo Interiors specializing in the commercial construction industry with the focus on steel stud framing, drywall and ceilings. He served over 40 years in the industry in which 35 of those years was at Alamo Interiors. If you knew Sonny well, you would certainly be initiated by being called one of his famous nicknames such as Stick, Cheetah, Mama Dog, Puppy, Spec, Slim, Woman or any other specific one he might choose for you. His constant smile was contagious and his gracious, caring and unselfish manner will always be remembered. He had a heart of gold and was the most giving person ever. He had the incredible gift of making you smile and laugh. His top priority was sharing life with his adoring wife, Kathy. Second was consistent contact with his sons, Greg and Justin. Sonny delighted himself in helping neighbors in need. He loved teaching them to fix things and working with his hands, especially if something was exceptionally challenging. He had a great love for the outdoors especially birds, squirrels and flowers in his backyard sanctuary. And most importantly was his dog Texas who was fed Costco chicken at least twice weekly. Texas was his dear companion for over ten years. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy of 41 years, sons Gregory R. Belz and Justin S. Belz, brother Edmond L. Belz and wife Arlene, nephews Jason A. Belz and Jeffrey L. Belz and wife Krisha and their children Jake and Wyatt. Sonny's love of life will be forever embedded in our hearts and we will miss him forever. THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT BE IN WANT HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES, HE LEADS ME BESIDE QUIET WATERS, HE RESTORES MY SOUL, HE GUIDES ME IN PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAMES SAKE EVEN THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH. I FEAR NO EVIL; FOR THOU ART WITH ME; THY ROD AND THY STAFF, THEY COMFORT ME. THOU DOST PREPARE A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF MY ENEMIES; THOU HAST ANOINTED MY HEAD WITH OIL; MY CUP OVERFLOWS SURELY GOODNESS AND LOVING KINDNESS WILL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE.
