Morrison Our dear sweet Mama, Anne Crossette Morrison, born March 29, 1924, passed on to be with our Lord on October 23, 2010, at the age of 86. She loved our Lord and her family with all her heart and soul. Her husband and our beloved father, Frank B. Morrison, preceded her in death in 1992. Annie was born in San Antonio, Texas to Murray F. and Virginia Maverick Crossette, along with three sisters, Virginia Fichtner, Aurelia Goeth, Barbara McGaughy and 2 brothers, Murray and Maverick Crossette. She had a wonderful life traveling back and forth to Mexico where she spent her first few years while her father was a mining engineer. After returning to San Antonio to live permanently, many happy times were also spent with her cousins at Sunshine Ranch. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Sullins College. While attending a debutante dance with our Dad in 1948, they fell instantly in love and could hardly wait to get married 3 months later. We have many sweet memories of our mother and father and are left with wonderful examples to follow of their love and devotion to each other and to us. They always told us it was a privilege to have us for children. Heavenly Father, we thank you for allowing us to be born to such wonderful parents. And thank you that you blessed our Mama with her greatest dreams of being a wife and mother. Annie also had many wonderful friends from her Jefferson High School graduating class with whom she used to meet for lunch every month. Survivors include three children, Anne Missy McGee and husband Mark; Molly Gentry and husband Wayne; Frank Morrison, Jr. and wife Teri; granddaughter Katelynn Gentry; sister Barbara McGaughy and husband Elkin; and many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews. The children would like to thank Shirley McCullough, KinCare, Ltd. and the wonderful caregivers at Shalimar Place where Annie comfortably spent her last few years.
