Carol Lynn DuBose entered into eternal rest on May 27, 2026. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Carol was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 13, 1968 to Monte James Cooper and Judy Lee (Smith) Shelby. Carol was a proud San Antonio native and attended McCollum High School. She dedicated over 35 years of service to Rugby ABP Co., where she worked her way up from secretary to office manager. She was known for her hard work, reliability, and the lasting relationships she built with coworkers and customers alike. Above all else, Carol cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Allan, and a loving mother to her son, Jacob, who was the pride and joy of her life. She adored her nieces and nephews, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews. Watching them learn, grow, and find their way in the world brought her immense happiness and was one of her greatest blessings. Carol found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved her pets, spending time outdoors, reading a good book, watching birds, and traveling to new places. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a special way of making those around her feel loved and supported. She is survived by her husband, Allan DuBose; son, Jacob DuBose; mother, Judy Lee Shelby (Steve); brother, Clinton Cooper (Karen), her half-sisters, Erin (Randy); and Casey (Shawn); her step-siblings, Stephanie Howard (Jeff), Michael (Sabina), and Steven (Dani); her parents in-law, Amos and Wanda Jones; her brother-in-law, Lee DuBose (Toni), and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and too many best friends to count. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Monte James Cooper; and her father-in-law, Jimmy DuBose. Carol's passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, her love of nature and animals, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her. Carol’s memory will continue to live on through the people she loved and the many lives she touched. The family finds comfort in knowing that while Carol's time with us was far too short, her love, warmth, and legacy will remain forever in their hearts. Funeral information to follow.
