Deborah (Debbie) Susan Ridinger was called home by her Lord and Savior on May 19th, 2026, at the age of 60 in San Antonio, Texas. Debbie was born on July 15th, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas to Frederick W. Jones and Cheryl C. Jones. Some of her many favorite things were Stargazer Lilies and Purple Passion plants. She loved the bright colors red, orange, and lime green. Debbie loved the state and was a true Texan. She loved to travel to every corner of the state with a passion for visiting State Parks, Big Bend and Historical locations. She enjoyed windshield time on highway drives and the wildflowers along the Texas roads and Hill Country. On any given weekend you would find her dressed in her favorite attire – shorts, a t-shirt, and often barefoot. Debbie truly loved “God’s amazing creations”: nature, animals, soil, stars, cool rocks and fossils, and “…especially caves.” Debbie loved taking her family to her other favorite places, such as rivers and lakes, the coast, and Fiesta Texas. Debbie loved Christian music, from old time gospels to the upbeat modern Christian Rock songs. She was a teenager at heart and loved rock and roll and disco too. She loved modern architecture of homes Debbie loved to say things like “Life is Crazy!” and “complete insanity” – when referring to her home. She loved witty poems, tongue-twisters, and huge jigsaw puzzles. Debbie also loved looking up into the sky as planes passed by. She was highly musically talented, something she instilled in her children, and would love to play the piano. Her favorite piano piece was Maple Leaf Rag. She was a loving wife, proud mother, daughter, sister and friend. She built her life with devotion and dedication to her Savior, Jesus Christ, her family, friends and career. Debbie was a driven woman who accomplished all that she set her mind to. She was a successful businesswoman and a community leader. Moreover, she was a committed and humble servant to others. Preceded in death by her father, Frederick W. Jones, she is survived by her lifelong spouse Roy H. Ridinger III, daughter Rachel N. Ridinger Rains, son Aaron T. Ridinger, daughter Rheanna G. Ridinger McGinnis (spouse John Paul McGinnis), son Andrew K. Ridinger, mother Cheryl C. Jones and sister Karen C. Jones Pepin. Her family is comforted knowing she is in Paradise now, free from pain, and surrounded by Eternal Love. Debbie was beloved by all who came to know her, and though she will be deeply missed, her loving kindness and beautiful character will be forever remembered as a blessing from God. Debbie was a devout Christian who found purpose in bringing all closer to God. More than anything she hoped that her life and passing served as a “Testimony of God and His never-ending, very gracious Love for all of us.” Visitation will be on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Dominion, 20900 IH 10 West, San Antonio, TX 78257.The Service will be on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Mission Burial Park North Dominion. In honor of Debbie, you may consider wearing one of her favorite colors to show respect on the dates of her remembrance.
