JUAREZ Our beloved mother, Dulce Juarez, went to join the lord on October 11, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Dulce grew up in Mexico and became a citizen of San Antonio 1959, one of eight children of Apolonio Moreno & Cristina Garcia. As a devoted Catholic, she made a priority to attend church and prayer groups with her son Gilbert and sisters Rosa and Chaya. She is remember as a hard working mother who took joy in helping her family and friends. In her golden years she enjoyed attending family gatherings and the yearly family reunion held in memory of her mother Cristia. She worked at Bexar Coutny Hospital, Sunshine Laundry, Oak Hills Nursing Home, Broadway Nursing Home, City of San Antonio - Home Care Provider Unit, and as a Shaklee representative. Dulce was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Apolonio Moreno, Cristina Garcia and Beatriz Medina. She is survived by three daughters and three sons: Carmen Pagan and her husband Sandy, Mary Frances Orantes and her husband Ernesto;Jeanie Juarez; Apolonio Juarez and his wife Alice; Gilbert Juares; Jesse Montiel and wife Marion. She had two sisters and four brothers: Rosa Vargas and her husband Juan; Nazaria Olmos and her husband Martin; Victor Moreno; Constancio Moreno and his wife Rosalia; Enrique Moreno and his wife Rebecca; Antonio Moreno and his wife Graciela; other loving family, twelve grandchildren, six great grand-children, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family deeply appreciates the care and compassion provided to our mother by: the doctors and staff at Baptist Hospital - Downtown; the staff at Broadway Dialysis Clinic; her loving daughter and caregive Mary Frances; and her friend Alice Pesqueira who drove her to dialysis treatment three times a week. She will be missed by all who loved her. SERVICES Visitation will begin on October 13, 2010 at 6:00 PM, with Rosary to be receited at 7:00 PM, at Mission Park Funeral Home, 3401 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, TX 78230. Funeral services will be held on October 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 1710 Clower, San Antonio, TX. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd. San Antonio, TX. Pallbearers: Apolonio Juarez, Gilbert Juarez, Jesse Montiel, Hector Hernandez, Joey Duran, and Juan Vargas, Jr.
