Esther Ann Brozovic, age 83, of San Antonio Texas, has peacefully met her lord on February 14, 2016. Esther was born to the parents of James and Isabelle Walker on December 17, 1932 in Harrietsville Ohio. She was from a family of 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years of marriage, George L Brozovic Jr. Esther attended school at Elk Grove High School in Harrietsville OH. While her husband was in the military, Esther had the opportunity to reside in places such as Alaska, France and Japan. She went to nursing school at nights and eventually became an LVN. Esther performed nursing services at Santa Rosa Hospital for 25 years before retiring. Just like her husband, Esther performed volunteer work such as meals-on-wheels for years. She was a member of St Paul's Catholic Church for over 40 years. Esther enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and reading. In her younger years she used to make shirts from scratch. She went to the gym regularly up until her late 70 & early 80's. Esther entered the Lakeside Care Center approximately just under a year ago due to Alzheimer's. During her time there she was very actively involved in almost all activities. She had an opportunity to bowl, dance, play bingo and much more. She enjoyed taking her visitors on tours of the facility. She was very popular with the staff and other patients. Esther loved being around family and enjoyed family outings to parks. Esther is survived by her 8 children and spouses, Richard/Patricia, John/VickiJo, Michael/Debra, Teresa/Scott, James/Patricia, Susan/Dan, Paul/Kimberly, Patricia/Adrian. Esther is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A 9:30 a.m., Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jason Brozovic, John Givhan Brozovic, Mark Brozovic, Daniel Hiland, Heather Miata, Trenton Thompson, Brandon Brozovic & Benjamin Carpenter Family would like to request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Alzheimer's Association in memory of Esther Brozovic.
