Lenny Cash, age 75, of San Antonio peacefully went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Friday, January 27, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was a member of Oak Hills Church. Lenny began his professional career at Pitney Bowes where he was the top salesman in his first year…all while only selling one postage meter…all of the others he leased to his customers. Thus, beginning his leasing career. He owned Standard Office Systems and founded Standard Leasing in Memphis, TN. After selling his company in Memphis, a business associate suggested he start a leasing company in San Antonio. So, Lenny flew in to San Antonio, fell in love with the city, and never left. He immediately opened Transworld Leasing Corporation in March of 1979. Lenny’s philosophy was, “As long as you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.” Lenny certainly loved what he did and was one of the foremost leasing experts in the country. He loved his customers and he loved cars. In his early 20’s he raced cars for Pontiac and he never lost his need for speed. Lenny was an avid golfer and loved his Saturday morning games with “The Gang.” He was an award-winning skeet shooter and his other hobbies included snow skiing and playing with his grandchildren. Lenny was preceded in death by his parents Lenard Dewitt Cash, Sr. and Ella Mae Scott Cash; his father-in-law, James Crowson and his brother-in-law, Chuck Crowson. Lenny is survived by wife, Peggy Cash; his son, Rick Cash and wife, Missi and their son, Landon; his daughter, Teresa Workinger and husband, David and their daughter, Morgan; his daughter, Cherie Bauch and husband, Blane and their son, Preston; his daughter, Tiffany Cash and her children, AJ and Mary; his son, Kyh Allen and wife, Lauren; his son, Garrett Bonds and wife, Laurie Beth and their sons, Jaxon and Tanner. SERVICES Visitation will be form 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Stone Oak, 23755 US Hwy 281 North. The Celebration of Lenny’s Life will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Oak Hills Church, 19595 IH 10 West. A Reception will follow at the Church. Lenny’s honorary pallbearers will be Don Sanders, Kevin Leatherman, George Tully, Charlie Patterson, Aldo Ghaffari, Amir Hosseini, Robert Nitsche, Mark Fessler, Daryl Lansdale, Richard Contreras and Fitz Saunders.
