Linda R. Viera, 69, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026. She was born on March 22, 1957, and lived a life filled with love, kindness, creativity, and devotion to her family. Linda was the beloved wife of Reyes D. Viera. She was a loving mother to Felicia Lopez and her husband Robert, Donald Adam Lopez Jr., and Vanessa Lopez. She was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She is survived by her loving parents, Domingo Ruiz and Petra Ruiz; her siblings, Betty Jean Ruiz, Ricky Ruiz and his wife Gabby, and Rebecca Rodriguez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory forever. Linda had a creative spirit and a heart for serving others. She loved making crafts and creating beautiful jewelry, often sharing her talents with family and friends. She spent many years working in retail and dedicated 10 years of her life as a caregiver, touching the lives of countless people through her compassion and kindness. Above all, Linda cherished time spent with her family. Whether gathered for holidays, celebrations, or simple everyday moments, she found her greatest happiness surrounded by those she loved. Her warmth, generosity, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Linda’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and dedication to her family. While her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Visitation and Funeral Services Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for immediate family. A Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. at Palm Heights Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Burial Park. A funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. The family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Linda will forever be remembered for her beautiful heart, creative spirit, and the unwavering love she had for her family. May she rest in eternal peace.
