Manuel Huizar Ingle passed away peacefully at home, comforted by the love of his family on December 18, 2025. Manuel Ingle was born on August 19, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas. He married the love of his life, Mary Jane Ingle (Alderete), and together they shared 64 cherished years of marriage filled with love, commitment, and countless memories. In 1955, Manuel proudly joined the United States Navy, serving his country with honor and dedication. After completing his military service, he devoted his professional life to civil service within the meat industry. He began his career as a butcher and meat cutter, earning a reputation for his skill, reliability, and strong work ethic. Through years of hard work and determination, he advanced into management, gaining the respect of colleagues and those he served. His career reflected a deep sense of responsibility, integrity, and pride in honest work. Manuel was a strong-willed and headstrong man who lived life on his own terms, firmly believing that “no” was never an option. Loud, confident, and full of energy, he was truly the life of the party—someone whose presence filled a room and whose laughter was impossible to ignore. He was an avid reader and proudly self-taught, with a lifelong curiosity and love of learning. He enjoyed traveling, and his favorite place in the world was South Korea, where he formed many friendships and unforgettable memories. In his free time, Manuel loved visiting casinos, trying his luck with scratch-off tickets, and gathering around the grill to barbecue for family and friends. Manuel will be remembered most for his bold personality, determination, and ability to bring people together. He taught those around him to live fearlessly, to keep learning in their own way, and to make meaningful memories wherever life takes you. His influence will live on through shared stories, fond laughter, and the courage he inspired in all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo and Maria Ingle; his sisters, Yolanda, Rosemary, and Debbie; and his brother, Gonzalo. Manuel is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jane Ingle; his children, Daniel Ingle (wife Cynthia), Michael Ingle, Sandra Barrientes (husband Ernest), and Roxanne Ingle Deleon (husband Frank DeLeon); his grandchildren, Jeff Gonzales (wife Amanda Barrera), Charles Barrientes, Jason Barrientes, and Jason Michael Ingle; his great-grandchildren, Adriana Barrera, Jordan Gonzales, Jacob Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales, Jenny Ingle, and Matthew Ingle; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
