Rosa Linda Bazan Obituary: Rosa Linda Bazan passed away at the age of 75 peacefully surrounded by her family on March 14, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on May 24, 1950, in Pleasanton, Texas. She was the first born of eight children born to Dario Bazan and Benita Bazan. Throughout her life, Rosa Linda demonstrated a deep commitment to caring for others. She spent time working on several fronts, including Line Leader at Datapoint, waitressing, caregiving and later achieved her Real Estate License, showcasing her dedication to personal growth and professional achievement. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her career into her family life, where she found immense joy in her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rosa Linda is survived by her loving daughter, Roxanne Covell and husband Chris; granddaughters Melissa Campos and Ezra Hernandez; grandson Dorian Schenck and wife Mary, great grandchildren, Aleena, Kaylynn, Tristan, Priscilliana, Vanessa and Johnny. She is also survived by her siblings: Mary Helen Garcia and husband Danny; Alma Garcia and husband Gilbert; Margie Galindo and husband Eleazar; Dario Bazan Jr; Moses Bazan; Eliseo Bazan and wife Yolanda; and Janice Cadena. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Rosa Linda is preceded in death by her parents Dario Bazan and Benita Bazan and her beloved son, Johnny Hernandez Jr. Family was at the heart of Rosa Linda’s life. She especially loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren, offering them unwavering love and care. As the first born of eight children, she also treasured the bond she shared with her siblings. Rosa Linda embraced her role as a guiding presence within the family. She delighted in gathering with her siblings to celebrate birthdays at various restaurants each year – a tradition that brought joy to all who participated. Rosa Linda’s upbringing was deeply rooted in faith. Her mother instilled strong religious values in all her children, a legacy that Rosa Linda carried forward throughout her life. These values shaped the compassionate person she became and were evident in the way she lived each day. Rosa Linda’s memory will be forever cherished by those who knew her. Her warmth, infectious laugh, devotion to family, and enduring faith leave an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to share in her life. May Rosa Linda’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on April 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm at Alamo Funeral Chapels at 624 N.
