Rodolfo "Rudy" Garcia, a cherished husband, beloved father, dear brother, and adored grandfather, was born on February 20, 1946, and departed this life peacefully on April 2, 2026, at the age of 80. His passing has left an immeasurable void. Rudy showcased his spirit and determination as a Golden Gloves boxer, was an avid pool player, had a passion for cooking, loved hunting, and now, he finds eternal peace fishing in an endless supply of his favorite fish, a reflection of his enduring love for the outdoors. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 55 years, Rosemary Garcia, who was the guiding light and true love of his life. Their enduring love story serves as a timeless inspiration to all who witnessed it. Rudy's legacy of love and strength continues to live on through his sons, Johnny (Sylvia) Sanchez and Frank (Joann) Sanchez, who proudly carry forward his spirit and values. He has now been reunited with his beloved son, Patrick Sanchez, at the gates of Heaven. Rudy is also survived by his brothers, Robert Garcia and Raymond Garcia, and his grandchildren: Johnny Sanchez IV, Marcus Sanchez, Kaitlin Sanchez, Kris (Nicole) Pacheco, Bryan Sanchez, Patrick Sanchez, and Frank Sanchez Jr. His great-grandchildren, Oliver Sanchez, Raelyn Pacheco, and Marcelo DeLeon, brought an extra measure of sparkle and laughter into his later years. He will forever be remembered by his loving Nieces and Nephews, Godchildren, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering warmth. Rudy was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Guadalupe Gutierrez Garcia and Rodolfo Macias Garcia. He has also been reunited in eternal rest with his siblings Guadalupe Garcia Molina, Joe Garcia, and Olga Garcia. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Frances Valdez for helping her sister care for Rudy during his final years. Though Rudy may be physically gone, his memory will forever be a beacon of light, eternally held within our hearts of those he loved so dearly and who loved him in return. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Palm Heights Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church with a procession to depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Services to conclude after Funeral Mass.
