MAY Thomas Joseph May, Jr. Tom, passed away from this life on April 17, 2007 after battling cancer for 3 years. Tom was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 24, 1951. Tom is survived by Teresa Anderson May, the love of his life, at his side for 32.5 years through sickness and health, a testimony of their commitment and enduring love. As High School sweethearts they never dated anyone else and knew from the beginning that they were meant for each other. Tom will be enormously missed by family and friends. He is survived by his father, Thomas Joseph May, Sr. Joe and his sister, Mary Jean May George; nieces, Amanda George Fletcher and husband, Brian, Kim Kotzebue, Liz Rhoden; and grandniece, Courtney Rhoden. Tom was blessed with wonderful in-laws, O.V. and Pam Andersom; sister-in-law, Valerie Townsend and husband, Jack; and nephews, Lynn and David Mallery. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy McHugh May; and his sister, Barbara May Kotzebue. After a 28.5 year career with Lifetouch National School Studios, Tom took immense pleasure in continuing to build the successful school picture business he took over after his father retired and went on to sit on the Advisory Committee for Lifetouch helping mold the international companys future direction and success. Many will remember Tom as a caring, loving person who brought joy and laughter into their lives with his wit and sense of humor. In addition to his family, Toms co-workers, protégés and former employees will miss his leadership and the truly remarkable work ethic Tom lived by his entire life. Tom decided early on that he was not going to work forever and retired at 48 to spend more time traveling and enjoying life with Teresa. For the last several years, Tom and Teresa have divided their time between San Antonio and their home in Las Vegas. We would like you to join the family in a celebration of Toms remarkable life. SERVICES Visitation will be held on Thursday-April 19, 2007 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr., San Antonio, TX 78230. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday-April 20, 2007 at 1:00PM at the Mission Burial Park North Mausoleum Chapel, 20900 IH-10 West, San Antonio, TX 78257. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park North.
