Zachary “Zack” Noel Gutierrez-Lopez was born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 4, 2000. He went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2024, at the age of 24. Zack's vibrant spirit and infectious inspiration will forever be remembered by his family and friends, as he made a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Mama Josie, Dad Back, Popo Garza, and Wela Lola; his cousin, Crystal; his aunt and uncle, Yaya and Charlie; and his dear friends, Gene and Jonathan. Zack is survived by his loving parents, Ben and Bonnie; his siblings, Justine, Ryan, Anthony, Mark, Everett, Sabrina, and Ben Lopez Jr.; his cherished grandparents, Momo and Popo Lopez, and Momo Garza. He is also survived by his aunt Ann and uncle Mando, along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins—including Candice and Kristalina—and many more who loved him dearly. Zack's greatest joy in life was being an uncle to his nieces and nephews: DeAngello, Jullien, Leigha Jean, Zeke, Nate, Aubree, JD, Juliusz, AJ, Mayliya, Eren, His love for them was unconditional, and he brought joy to their lives in countless ways. Zack will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be remembered for his kindness, his giving spirit, and the love he gave so freely. Zack’s soul may have left this world, but his legacy endures forever. Zack’s legacy will also continue through his Non-Profit Organization, The Prophet, The Zachary Lopez Foundation. For the last four years, Zack has dedicated himself to blessing families in our community with holiday gifts and meal packages. This year, his goal was to host the biggest giveaway yet. As a family, we are determined to make this happen in his honor. In order to continue Zack’s mission, we are asking for donations to support his foundation and help us bless other families. Visitation will begin on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a celebration of his life to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Palm Heights Mortuary. His celebration of life will continue Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park. The family would like to invite you for food and fellowship at El Luchador Bar 622 Roosevelt Ave. San Antonio, Texas 78210 after the graveside service.
